Strap Protectors are typically used underneath steel or plastic strapping. This will allow enough tension to be placed on the strap to secure the load without damaging the product. Our laminated chipboard Strap Protectors are sufficiently rigid to prevent the strapping from damaging the goods shipped while having a bit of "give" to allow the strap to "bite" into the chipboard, creating its own ridge and thereby preventing it from sliding off the Strap Protector.

Strap-O-Guard^® are short pieces of edgeboard. They also have the three variables associated with the long lengths of edgeboard: Leg Size, Thickness (also known as Caliper) and Length. Although we have the capacity to custom manufacture these variables, Strap Protectors are usually bought in standard sizes.
